I shoot mule deer in the canyons, bluebirds on the sage, raptors all winter, and waterfowl at Barr Lake northeast of Denver. Garden of the Gods is practically a backyard — I've shot it in every season, in snow, at sunrise, and in the middle of thunderstorms. I've also shot along the Gulf Coast of Florida and in Portugal.
The goal is the same every time: get close enough to see the eye, wait for the right light, don't blow the shot. Every image is a single capture edited in Lightroom — no composites, no AI generation, no shortcuts.
